AIRLINES GET COLD
Sometimes you walk on, sit down.
Check your email and wait.
Keep working and thinking in normalcy.
It gets cold - fringed -
You feel death through the window
Numbers low enough to kill you
You might pass through, pass by-
disappear.
into the air which allows you to fly-
four inches from your face.
The air is cold- freezing - on a winter fight.
It would hurt.
The cold hurts.
It does hurt.
It would be painful- excruciating.
You might picture yourself falling in the air in slow motion-
or crashing faster than your brain can catch up to-
into something large and brutal.
